Objective of the FoundationAbout the Foundation

Based on the philosophy of contributing to the improvement of a healthy and bountiful diet for all, the Foundation aims to contribute to public interest through surveys and research, comunication, support for researchers and research institutes related to food, dietary habits, and food culture.

The Foundation's main activities are as follows:

  1. Providing grants to researchers and research institutes related to food, dietary habits and food culture
  2. Lectures and other events
  3. Surveys and research on food and dietary habits
  4. Support for international students in Japan
  5. Support for Japanese students going overseas for study
  6. Awards for research on food and dietary habits
  7. Publication of journals, pamphlets, etc.
  8. Other activities necessary to achieve the above objectives

■Scholarships for international students in Japan over the recent years

  • In 2023, scholarships were given for 7 students
  • In 2022, scholarships were given for 7 students
  • In 2021, scholarships were given for 5 students

■Scholarships for Japanese students going overseas for study

  • In 2023, scholarships were given for 2 new students
